Terms of Service — Quest Keeper

1. Application of These Terms
These Terms govern the rights and obligations between the Developer and users regarding the use of Quest Keeper (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms. The App is distributed through the Apple App Store, and the App Store terms (Apple Media Services Terms) also apply.
2. The Service
- The App is a local-only, offline productivity app that helps you manage your to-dos with game elements.
- It represents deadlines and completions as dungeon exploration and victories, and aims not to punish failure by accumulating it permanently.
- The App operates on a single device without accounts, servers, or sync.
3. License
The Developer grants you a limited, non-transferable right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, copy without authorization, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App.
4. Your Responsibilities and Data Backup
- The App stores data only on your device and does not provide cloud backup or sync.
- Accordingly, data may be unrecoverable if you lose or reset your device or delete the App. You are responsible for preserving your data.
- You must use the App in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
5. Intellectual Property
Intellectual property rights in the App and its content (code, pixel art, design, copy, etc.) belong to the Developer or their rightful owners. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is." The Developer does not warrant that the App will operate without errors or that it is fit for any particular purpose. The App is merely a tool to assist with deadline and schedule management; it does not absolutely guarantee timely delivery of notifications or the integrity of data.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as data loss or missed schedules) arising from use of, or inability to use, the App.
8. Changes to or Discontinuation of the Service
The Developer may change the App's features or discontinue the service. Material changes will be announced through app updates.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction as determined by applicable law.
